The China - AUN Scholarship for the 2026/2027 Academic Year is once again open to ASEAN citizens through cooperation between the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the ASEAN University Network (AUN).
This full scholarship program is intended for postgraduate applicants, including both Master’s (S2) programs with a maximum study duration of three years and Doctoral (S3) programs with a maximum duration of four years, in various fields of study at universities in China. Scholarship recipients will receive tuition waivers, university accommodation, monthly living allowances of CNY 3,000 for Master’s students and CNY 3,500 for Doctoral students, as well as comprehensive health insurance coverage.
The main requirements include citizenship of an ASEAN member country, a maximum age limit of 35 years for Master’s degree applicants and 40 years for Doctoral degree applicants, and fulfillment of language proficiency requirements in accordance with the chosen study program. Applicants must hold an HSK Level 4 certificate for Mandarin-taught programs or IELTS/TOEFL scores for English-taught programs.
Applications are open until February 16, 2026, and must be submitted through the official China Scholarship Council (CSC).
